The Acute Care Opioid Prescribing (ACOP) Guide is a compilation of resources for administrators and leaders to use within their health systems or departments to drive behavior change related to acute care opioid prescribing for adult patients. It can also be used by Providers who manage patient pain in the acute care setting. The ACOP guide includes best practices for opioid prescribing and pain management, free educational materials for patients, and State of Michigan opioid legislation.
